Buckminster Fuller once said: "When I am working on a problem, I never think about beauty. I only think about how to  solve the problem. But when I have finished, if the solution is not beautiful, I know its wrong". The architectural practices of Page + Steele has focused on "beautiful problems" for almost 80 years. Established in Toronto in 1926 by reknowed architects Forsey Page and Harland Steele the firm has helped shape the vary fabric of the city. Under the creative guidance of British-born Modrrnist Peter Dickinson's in the early 50's the firm created such architecural gems as Beneuto Place, the O'Keefe Center (now Hummingbird), and the Beth Tzedec Synagogue.
